Introducing Ochre, a beautiful OOAK Mohair Teddy Bear. He is 15 inches tall and has been created by me, Sylvia Humphrey. He is a sweet traditional style boy with a great personality made with Imported long pile Helmbold German Mohair in lovely Deep Yellow! He has Suede like Paw Pads in dark brown with embroidered yellow claws. His eyes are German Glass in a Soft Smokey Topaz, which give him a sweet, soulful look which is hard to resist!! He has a hand embroidered Perle Cotton Nose in a warm brown, this has been waxed for a nice shine. His face has been both scissor and needle sculpted for definition and also shaded for added dimension.
Ochre is securely 5-way Jointed with locknuts/discs for good pose-ability and is filled with Excelsior, quality Polyfill and a pouch of b.b's for a weighty feel. He is wearing a pretty Gold Satin Ribbon Bow around his neck. He also has a nice Blue flowered Heart on a ribbon.This looks great against his lovely soft fur.
Ochre will bring along his personal, signed Swing Tag and his sewn-in ribbon label showing that he is a One Of A Kind, Blue Jean Bear created by me.

Introducing Sybilla, a sweet 14 inch Traditional Style Bear.
Sybilla is made from wonderful German Mohair in a pretty Pale Beige. She has Merino Wool Felt Paw Pads with Perle Cotton embroidered Claws. Her nose is hand-stitched in Golden Brown Perle Cotton and waxed for a subtle shine.
She has German Glass Eyes in Black, with White Felt beneath and shading for depth and beauty. Her face has been both needle and scissor sculpted to bring out her cute personality! She's filled with Excelsior, quality Polyfill and a pouch of b.b's for weight. She is also securely 5-way jointed with a Locknut/Disc combo for lasting heirloom quality.
Sybilla wears a pretty Ruffled Collar which I Crocheted specially for her in Pink and White cotton. It ties at the back for easy removal. She also has a lovely satin and sheer Pink Bow on her head. She will bring along her personal, signed Swing Tag with her photograph and details and a sewn in ribbon label showing she is a One of a Kind, Blue Jean Bear, created entirely by me.

 Hi, I am very pleased to welcome you to my website.
I design one of a kind, Collectible Teddy Bears for the most discerning of Collectors.
They range in size from 12” to 24”. I mostly use mohair as it's so wonderful to work with and comes in a great variety of colors and textures and is perfect for teddy bears!!.
Paw pads are Merino Wool Felt, Ultra Suede or Vintage Linen. Eyes are always high quality German Glass.
These come in many colors. Sometimes I handpaint clear glass eyes for a special effect or color.
Noses are embroidered with beautiful Perle Cotton in the traditional way though I sometimes needle-felt them if the occasion arises.
For the filling I use Excelsior, Quality Polyfill and glass beads or copper bb's for a nice weight.
I have been making Teddy Bears for seven years and don't think I'll be stopping any time soon as I'm so addicted to the whole process and it's so fun!!
